Diandra Jones and Abubakari Kassum

Diandra and Abu met while Diandra was volunteering as a dancer and teacher with Sankofa Center, a non-profit NGO that teaches HIV/AIDS awareness to marginalized youth through traditional African dance and drama.
Diandra Jones comes from a family of motorcyclists in rural Pennsylvania. Having toured all over the world as a professional Irish step dancer and performing artist, she was teaching and performing in Chicago, when she ventured to Ghana and happened to meet Abu, their life plans changing fortuitously.
Abubakari Kassum (Abu Rasta) is an experienced rider and motorcycle mechanic, having spent his entire
life in Ghana living and traveling throughout the country.
He has motorcycled extensively through Africa and Europe, and knows from first-hand experience the landscape and people of Ghana and West Africa, which he proudly shares with his guests.
In addition to being a motorcycle mechanic and avid rider, Abu is also a traditional African dancer and musician who has performed both locally and internationally, trained at Ghana's renowned Arts Center in Accra. He is a proud Ghanaian, born and raised, eager to share the beauties of his country and help his people along the way.
